On an unrelated topic, I would urge anyone who would like to see the only film used for training purposes by both the US army AND the PLO to see The Battle For Algiers. It's about how the French won the battle for the city for Algiers and defeated an insurgency by killing its leaders and despite these facts, still withdrew from Algeria in two years.
